A Commitment to Clear Communication
Understand our policies & etiquette before you arrive.
At The Local Lotus Yoga & Wellness Studio, we believe great yoga instruction goes hand in hand with honest, fair policies. This page explains how we handle class bookings, memberships, refunds, personal data, and studio expectations so you can focus on your practice.
We designed these yoga studio policies to protect both our students and our instructors. Clear rules keep classes running smoothly, create a safe environment, and help everyone enjoy a positive experience on the mat.
Whether you are new to yoga or a long-time practitioner, we encourage you to review this information. If you ever have questions, our team is happy to help you understand the details before you book.
Policies & Etiquette
Cancellations made at least 6 hours prior to the start of class for all regular schedule classes, or at least 24 hours for all workshops/special events, will result in the class pass being added back to your account for use at a later date. No-shows and/or reservations cancelled less than 6 hours before your scheduled class, or less than 24 hours before your scheduled workshop/event, will result in a forfeited class pass. Members using an Unlimited class pass will be charged $10 for each late cancel/no-show. No exceptions.
Refunds
All sales are final and non-refundable. No exceptions.
Every student completes a simple liability waiver to confirm they understand the physical nature of the class they are attending and agree to practice responsibly.
Class Credit Expiration
All class credit expiration dates are fixed and cannot not be extended.
Late Arrivals
Mindfulness begins before you step onto the mat. To protect the peaceful space and honor everyone’s practice, studio doors lock promptly at class start time, and late entries cannot be accommodated.
Missed sessions due to late arrival will be treated as a no-show under our standard cancellation policy. Thank you for helping us maintain a tranquil environment for all.
Cell Phones
Upon entry into the studio, please silence and store your phones in the cubbies available. This is a time for you to disconnect from life and reconnect with yourself. If you require your phone near by for on call or medical purposes, please let your instructor know prior to the start of class.
